Dension’s flagship interface is designed to work with vehicles which use the MOST control and communication system. MOST is a digital fibre optic network found commonly in BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and AUDI amongst others, which the Gateway 500 can communicate with. Music from the iPOD or USB can be routed into the car’s audio system and information can be sent up to the car’s original screen for clear, easy control of the content.

The Gateway 50 emulates the CD changer in your car and connects in the same way ( you don’t have to lose the CDC to make it operate ). Once the GW500 is fitted, you simply select CD changer and a source menu will appear on your screen. You  can then choose any device that is connected to the GW500 ( iPOD, USB or auxiliary ). For iPOD you can choose to control the device from its own click wheel or the vehicle controls.
